TMobile (USA) Minutes Used version 1.2

The new version saves minutes usage information so that restarting Firefox won't result in checking TMobile's web site for minute usage.

You can download it here.

Hi!

Does the T-Mobile 1.2 extension save the minutes information in an offline text file? If so, how can I access it? I am interested in knowing where the number of minutes used is stored on my system so that I can copy the information to a chart.

This is a great update, thank you.

version 1.2 saves the latest version of your account page as an html page on your local disk, in the profile directory of firefox. the file is called tmobile_last_response.html

I've located the file, but it's empty (despite being 47kb) when I open it in Notepad. Am I doing something wrong? I'm sure there's some code in that html file, but I can't seem to get to it...

Thanks again!

it's not empty. the first few lines are blank. if you scroll down, you will see the content.

Just posted in the other thread about v1.1 getting stuck "checking usage". This version doesn't have that problem anymore. Thanks!

version 1.2 and .9 are failing to do anything for me. Gives me a security concern since I'm putting in my password and mobile number.
I have v1.5 of firefox.
thanks!

Getting 'failed to parse the minutes used'. If I click on the extension in the bar and tell it to go to T-Mobile's site, and I log in and back out, suddenly it displays the minutes remaining. But when I first open Firefox, it won't display it, displaying the above error instead.

Firefox 2.0.0.1
T-Mobile PrePaid account.

I'm getting almost constant "checking usage" with this one. Once in awhile it'll work, but most of the time it doesn't. I've got it checking every 180 minutes.

Actually, I'm having exactly the same issue as anon right above me. If I log into the tmo site, and back out, it'll work. Otherwise I get "failed to parse the minutes used".

Similar issue. I'm not getting an error in the latest FF 2.0.0.1, just a message that reads "Loading TMobile minutes used..." unless I first visit the TMo site and login.

first time user, does not seem to be working:

I'm running mac 10.4.8, FF v. 1.5.0.9

on FF boot, the icon appears in lower left, text reads "Loading Tmobile minutes used..." and a mouse-over opens a small yellow textarea that says "failed to parse the minutes used".

after I log into Tmobile, and rt-click to check, it worked - got the right minutes and the mouse over with all the data.

If I log out of tmobile, and check again, and the plugin still works.

if I close firefox, when I open it back up, it still has the minutes from the last check, but subsequent checks fail until I log in manaually on the site again.

after playing with it for about a half hour now, it seems to work fine after I log into the site, but not before.
