Thank for the update. Mine is correctly calculating the projected usage, but unfortunately it's displaying it in red (that I'm over the projected usage or the month - when I'm not)
i tried to install this in firefox 3 rc2, and it wouldn't allow me to, saying that this extension doesn't provide secure updates. Could you please update so it's compatible with latest releases?
I am on a 1000 shared minutes family plan, and the app doesn't recognize how many minutes I have: it just says "NaN free minutes per month" and 1140/Nan in the status bar. It's a really useful app though, thanks!
Hi Winston, I am anon of 5/31. Here is the image you requested (wasn't sure if you wanted the main page with overall usage or the minute details page, so I'm posting both). My billing period has just rolled over, so I've used no minutes, and Minutes Used now has an additional problem: it only shows NaN/NaN (it also shows NaN for the projection as well).
I'd also love to see this working with Firefox 3. I've been using your add-in for a while and really like it but I can't use it anymore since I've gone to FF3
If you use the MR Tech Toolkit or have secure update checking disabled then this version will work for you in Firefox 3 (it will not install directly because I'm too cheap to get a secure certificate).
This is just a quick fix that disables using Firefox's built in login manager for retrieving the password because the way Firefox handles logins changed in Firefox 3.
Winston, the code almost works with usePwdMgr: true, but there seems to be something wrong with the way I set up findLogins(). Hopefully this will help you get started though. Thanks for the add-on.
Minutes always display in red here, too, in spite of being well below.
In fact, they even display in red when I select "No" for the option "Show usage if prejection exceeds free minutes per month".
As for "NaN/NaN", I only saw that while my minutes were still at 0 for the month. After the first call, it started showing the correct numbers (4/500). But red.
Winston, many thanks for your extension. May we expect FF 3 compatibility in the near future, without the need to edit, or use some workaround. Or is this project dead? Thank you.

Thank you Winston for your efforts!
Works very well....not if we can just get Tmobile to stop changing their site...

Fantastic. Thanks for the ultra-quick update. The calculation is correct for me.

can you post a screen shot of your acct page showing your total minutes available? is there a comma in the number?
Can you please make this work properly with FF3?
The browser is in RC stage and this still doesn't work.
Thanks.
seems to be working for me too now.
Mine shows as red also even though it is not projecting over the limit I set (900 mins out of 1000).

Update...
Now I've used a few minutes from my new month's bucket, and your extension correctly shows: 5/1000.
Want to also send my thanks.
Peace.
I'm also showing red and I'm at 477/1000...
Yeah, I'm another FF3 user, and it will not install because this extension doesn't provide secure updates.
This is a great extension, but I like FF3 too much!
FF3 comes out tomorrow.
Anyone have a FF3 version of this?
Too bad this doesn't work with Firefox 3. :=(
Please: Non-red for accounts that's not over the projected usages, and Firefox 3 compatible version.
Loved this add-ad. Extremely useful to me. But it doesn't work with Firefox 3. Would be great to get it back to work with Firefox 3.

I too wish the plugin worked for FF3. The plugin is great!
FF3 PLEEEEEZE!
I, also am wishing for FF3 compatibility!
Plz for FF# copatobilti
Does this work with Firefox 3? Thanks.
Guys this workaround works with FF3.
* Type about:config into Firefox's address bar and click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
* Right-click anywhere. Choose New>Boolean. Make the name of your new config value extensions.checkCompatibility and set it to false.
* Make another new boolean pair called extensions.checkUpdateSecurity and set the value to false.
* Restart Firefox.
Then come back to this great page and install the plugin!
It needs more than to not check the version compatibility or not check for secure updates.
The above method will not fully work. You may still get errors.
Everyone be patient, I'm sure Winston is working on it.
